How can I select a delivery date for my gift?  Currently our website does not allow this—however you can simply place the order and send us an email or give us a call with your order #  and  let us know the week you would like it delivered.  We can make the changes to your order from our end. 

How do I know what fruit is organic?  We only ship 100% certified organic fruit.  All of our items are 100% organic.

How do I get my fruit after I have ordered it?
FruitShare™ delivers your fruit right to your home, work or school. We send it to you with FedEx delivery, so you can be sure your fruit will get to you quickly. FruitShare™ can ship to all 48 contiguous states. With the exception of the Holiday Season—Where we pack and ship 5 days/week— and 2nd day shipping orders, we ship fruit early in the week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), so that it will arrive to you later in the week without sitting for the weekend.

How long does fruit last after it has arrived?
The fruit will easily last two weeks in the refrigerator, and some can be left on the counter and enjoyed at room temperature for about four days at a time. With each shipment, we include a newsletter that has detailed information about how to store the specific types of fruit in your box.

 How do I send fruit to someone as a gift?

FruitShare™ makes gift-giving easy. Simply order an Organic Fruit Gift Box and enter the address of the recipient in the “shipping address” section. We’ll do the rest, and you can rest assured that you have picked the perfect, personal gift for family, friends, co-workers and clients.


What happens if I am out of town on a week when I am going to receive a box of fruit?

If you know you're going to be out of town during a week when your fruit will be delivered, just let us know by emailing customersupport@fruitshare.com or calling 651-644-2800. We can easily delay your shipments for as long as you need. Remember, FruitShare™ can be delivered anywhere in the United States, so we can ship your box to you even if you aren't at home. Let us know where you'll be and how many shipments of fruit we should send to that address, and then enjoy your trip with fresh, organic fruit.


Where does the fruit come from?
FruitShare™ has relationships with the small organic growers all over the country. We first look to local growers, then regional ones, and then national ones. All of our partners are family-owned farms and are certified organic so you can feel good about supporting them. FruitShare™ takes pride in bringing you the best tasting, freshest fruit we can find. With each shipment, we send you a newsletter with information about which family grew your fruit, as well as health and wellness tips, recipes and other information.

How do you choose what fruit to ship each week?
FruitShare™ typically ships 4-6 varieties of in-season organic fruit in our mixed and gift boxes each week. We work hard to be sure our fruit is fresh, in-season, and great tasting!


Can I request to have more of my favorite fruit in my box?Yes, we will take requests within reason (you cant specify every piece in every pack) just send us an email at customersupport@fruitshare.com and ask us to put more or less of something in your box. If you are requesting more of the expensive fruits we will contact you regarding any additional charges. Many of our customers supplement their fruit club shipments with the individual boxes of their favorite fruits such as blueberries, cherries, and peaches.

 Fruit Clubs

How do the fruit clubs work? 

Our Fruit Clubs are designed as a recurring order and your credit card is charged with each shipment.

What club is best for me?  Consider these two factors:  The size of the box (full or half share), and the Frequency of Delivery (weekly, every other week, or monthly). 

First determine the amount that will work best for you.  A Full share box is designed for families and Fruit lovers and contains between 24-30 pieces of fruit.

Our Half Share is designed for singles, couples, and those who don’t eat quite as much fruit.  Each box contains 12-15 pieces of fruit.

Next determine the frequency of Delivery.  If you want delivery every other week then select one of our Farm Fresh Fruit Club options.  If you want a monthly Delivery select one of our Fruit of the Month Club options.

What if I need to stop the club or hold a shipment?  We want the fruit clubs to work for you.  If you need to discontinue or delay a shipment due to travel plans.  Contact us at customersupport@fruitshare.com . We will help you with this.

What if I need to change my club and get more or less fruit?  No problem, contact us and we will alter your subscription to fit you and your family’s needs. 

Fruit For the Office:

What do you recommend?  For the office we recommend our EmployeeWellness Club.  This is a re-curing order typically set up for weekly delivery (but we can customize this for you).  For this pack we include fruits easier to grab-n-go (no grapefruit or avocados in these boxes).

How many boxes do I need?   Employee Wellness clubs are set up for 12 or 24 pieces of fruit per box.  Determine the number of people in your office and order the appropriate quantity of boxes.  We are happy to make recommendations for you.  651.644.2800

Single Gift Boxes

Most of our products are single shipments unless they say “club” in the description.  Two of our most popular items are our Organic Fruit Gift and our Organic Fruit Mixed Box.  

Gifts to Multiple Addresses and corporate orders

I am interested in sending gifts to multiple addresses.  How do I do this?  Currently customers are only able to ship to one address in each individual order.  So if you are shipping three gifts you will need to create three orders.  We are working to improve this.  If you are shipping to your Holiday gift list, contact us and we will gladly get this set up for you.  Customersupport@fruitshare.com or 651.644.2800

Shipping

What are the shipping costs?  Currently standard ground/home delivery is included in the item price.  2nd day shipping is an additional cost—and recommended for more delicate fruits such as Blueberries, Cherries, and Peaches.  You can also select 2ndday shipping at checkout if it is a rush order. 

Expedited 2nd day shipping:  Orders must be placed by 12 noon for the order to processed and shipped that day.   If later we will make every effort but cannot guarantee it will go out.  In that case the package will ship the following business day.  Please note 2-day shipping does not include the weekend so in some cases it is better to ship the gift the following Monday to ensure a better arrival.

Our Return Policy

Returns

FruitShare products are perishable and cannot be returned. These products are covered by our Satisfaction Guarantee and will be replaced or refunded within 30 days of purchase  if they arrive damaged.

Substitutions

We make every effort to ensure that the fruit and gourmet food items we feature on our site are in season and available. In some areas with a shorter growing season, this is not possible. For optimal freshness and quality, or due to seasonality, FruitShare reserves the right to substitute certain items of equal or higher value and appearance. Our customer service department will contact you if a major substitution is necessary.

Billing Payment Terms and Conditions

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards as forms of payment.  We bill for the entire order at the time of purchase.  In the case of Fruit Clubs we bill on a recurring schedule based on deliveries.

We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and management procedures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and to insure the appropriate use of the information we collect online. Our checkout process uses industry standard SSL encryption on a secure server to protect the privacy and security of your information.

Our site uses "cookies" to keep track of the items you place in the shopping cart. "Cookies" are harmless, small pieces of data that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive.

Our server captures IP address, browser type and referring URL transmitted by your browser. Your email address is not captured by our server. Email addresses are only captured on the order form and subscribe sign up.

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.  This cookie allows us to see information on user website activities including but not limited to page views, source and time spent on the website.  The information is depersonalized and displayed as numbers.  It cannot be tracked back to an individual.


Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.  Data collected includes Cookie and Usage Data.    

 

Adwords, Shopping Conversion Tracking and Remarketing

 

Google Adwords and Remarketing are web advertising services provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). 3rd party vendors, including Google show your ads on internet sites, 3rd party vendors, including Adwords code allows us to see which pages helped to lead to contact submission.  We can identify the referring source and make better use of paid advertising. We will not target, match or collect personally identifiable information (PII) with interest based advertising campaigns. Nor supply this information to Google.
